September is BBBS Month

Throughout the month of September we are encouraging you to tell your story, help a child in need and most importantly make a difference! This year Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall and District are on a mission to help YOU “Imagine who they will become because of YOU”; because you shared your story, because you made the call to volunteer in our school, because you made the call to become a BIG, because you referred a family to us. All it takes is one call, one share or one like to change a child’s LIFE.

BESMART

Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs are proven to help improve academic achievement and avoid risky behavior while helping children lead happy, healthy lives. Be part of their journey to success TODAY!

BEPROUD

Every $1 invested in Big Brothers Big Sisters helps to change the course of young lives and in turn, change the course of a community’s future. Imagine the difference you can make in your community when you support mentoring by Donating.

Imagine the difference we can make when we work together to create safe and inclusive spaces for Cornwall and Area’s youth.

BEYOU

Empowering youth to be comfortable with who they are, and confident in their decisions and lives will help them succeed. Former Little Sister Karine is now a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters Youth Council helping to empower other youth and make sure their voice is heard. Karine attributes her confidence and ability to be herself, to having a Big Sister and having BBBS part of her life for so many years.

BELOUD

This Big Brothers Big Sisters month we invite you to #beloud and help us spread the word about the need for youth mentoring programs. Children need real people with real experiences, just like you, to help them realize their dreams. Former and current Bigs, former and current littles, Board members, or all of the above; we want to hear from you. How did Big Brothers Big Sisters change your life and why is it important to have a mentor?
